Vase

 Lovingly designed and completely handmade in house by potter Emma Cranston. 

This vase was thrown on the wheel and trimmed, then once dry was put in the kiln for its first firing where it got to 1830 Fahrenheit. After the first fire this vase was glazed on the inside and dip glazed on the rim, leaving the dark clay body raw. Once glazed the vase was put in the kiln for another firing where it got to 2200 Fahrenheit. After the final firing the vase was sanded everywhere without glaze to ensure a nice smooth surface and is now ready for its new home!
