Mug Workshop

Mug hand building workshop

November 23, 1-4pm

Join me for a creative and cozy afternoon at my studio. In this workshop we will be exploring handbuilding techniques as I guide you through creating your very own mug. During our time together you will learn how to roll out a slab, cut out, assemble, and decorate your mug. Templates for mug shapes will be available as well as stamps and rollers to personalize your creation. 

This class is beginner friendly, no previous experience with clay is required. You are invited to be as whimsical and creative as your imagination allows. 

Everything you need will be supplied, including clay, tools, rolling pins, and aprons. You are also welcome to bring your own cookie cutters, stamps, or stencils that you might want to use.

Please wear comfy casual clothes you don't mind getting clay on.

After the workshop I will be firing your pieces in the kiln and glazing them in your choice of my studio glazes.

I will contact you in approximately 2-4 weeks after the workshop to pick up your finished pottery at the Aidem Marketing Group showroom. 

While I do my best to guid you through creating a successful piece, creating pottery does come with unpredictability.  Pieces can sometimes come out of the firings with cracks or pinholes. Because of this, I cannot guarantee how your finished piece will look. Refunds will not be offered for pieces with imperfections. 

Due to small class sizes, refunds for cancellations are unavailable. However you are welcome to send someone in your place if you cannot attend. 

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the class starts.
