Moon Mug 22

Lovingly designed and completely handmade in house by potter Emma Cranston. 

Each mug is thrown on the wheel and has a pulled handle attached to it. Once dry it is painted with underglaze and carved. Then loaded into the kiln for its first firing where it gets to 1830 Fahrenheit. Once out of the bisque firing it gets waxed on the bottom and over the moon, glazed in a lavender, black, green, red, or sandy glaze, and is then put in the kiln for another firing where it gets to 2200 Fahrenheit. After the final firing every mug gets sanded on the bottom to ensure a nice smooth surface and is then ready for its new home!

This mug holds approximately 15oz 

Microwave and dishwasher safe. When handwashing, avoid metal and/or abrasive sponges.
